About the Owner / Lead Nanny
Barbra Anne Katz
My journey in childcare began with my very first job—as a mother’s helper to a family with triplets. From that moment on, I discovered a genuine passion for working with children that has guided my career ever since.
I hold an Associate’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. Throughout my educational and professional journey, being a nanny remained a constant—both as a source of income and as a fulfilling way to stay connected to what I love most: supporting children and families.
Over the years, I’ve served as Director of a Before- and After-care program for students in grades K–6 and currently work as a TK -8 school counselor. These roles have deepened my understanding of child development, educational support, and family dynamics—skills I bring directly into my nanny placement work.
This was my first nanny business, and it holds a special place in my heart. After successfully building and selling a second nanny agency last year, I’ve continued to focus on growing this one with the same dedication and care. My goal has always been to connect families with professional, trustworthy caregivers who not only meet their needs but exceed their expectations.
With decades of hands-on experience, formal training in education and counseling, and a strong commitment to quality care, I’m proud to lead a service that families can truly rely on.
